One major symptom of a heart attack in women is dizziness or lightheadedness. This symptom can easily be attributed to dehydration, sinus problem, or even menopause by mistake. Extreme fatigue occurs in some women who suffer heart attacks, even if they haven’t been doing any high-intensity activity. If you also are experiencing shortness of breath, be sure to call a doctor immediately.
Another symptom that can be looked over as a symptom of menopause, breaking out into a cold, more stress-related sweat is common amongst women who are experiencing a heart attack. If you don’t normally sweat like that or experience anything like a hot flash, it would be wise to talk to a doctor.
